Description

Lacrosse is not only a sport, but also a spiritual endeavor for the Haudenosaunee/Iroquois, who are stewards of what they describe as the Creator's Game. We are honored to have Andrew Lee (Seneca) share his knowledge about the roots of lacrosse, highlight some Native values and principles we can learn from, and provide practical guidance for how players, coaches, and others can get the most from their lacrosse experience.

Andrew Lee has held a variety of executive positions in the fields of health care, American Indian affairs, and philanthropy. He serves on boards for the Smithsonian Institution, Harvard University, US Lacrosse, the Tewaaraton Foundation, among others. A lifelong lacrosse player and current youth coach, Andrew is a graduate of Hamilton College and the Harvard Kennedy School.
