One or two small areas with standing water or water appears when stepped on
It looks better than anticipated, I think with some dragging tomorrow I think Nottingham 1 will be playable. Nottingham 2 looks less promising.
I will return later in the day (in the morning if evening report) to rake and prep the field.

I will return later in the day (in the morning if evening report) to rake and prep the field., Teams arriving first in AM should rake a bit along the baselines and deep infield, but otherwise field is good to go.

Deep infield was soft, and minor standing water (1/4-1/2" in spradic areas of foot prints).
around 5:30-6:30pm Friday I used a puddle pillow to remove 95% of the water in the deep infield. Two others raked the baselines and mound. I sprinked turface around the bases and mound.

As of 7pm, soft spots at SS and 3B. Tonight's winds should dry them out. I have the 9am game and will be there early with my rake to take care of anything outstanding. Thanks.
I'm raking softer (but not muddy) areas of the infield to expose more soil to the sun and wind now., I will return later in the day (in the morning if evening report) to rake and prep the field.

There was a handful of standing water areas this morning. I went out and removed nearly all the water by 11am. Field should be in great condition by now.
Shouldn’t need anything other than mild raking for normal field maintenance prior to the game.

Home plate is not visible under small areas of water/very soft dirt. The rest of the field is playable if teams use a drop home plate 5 feet in front of the wet area and adjust pitching distance accordingly.

I removed the standing water promptly around 9:45 this morning as the rain let up. The only place with water then was approximately where 2B plays. As of 6:00 today, that area was still soft, but the rest of the field was great. I have the 9:00 a.m. game and will be there early to rake as needed. Thanks.
